Barbara Henry

Curator of Nutrition, Cincinnati Zoo

Barbara holds a B.S. in Animal Science from Purdue University and an M.S. in Ruminant Nutrition from Kansas State University. After completing a residency at the Brookfield Zoo, she was appointed Staff Nutritionist in 1996 and later served as Curator of Nutrition at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden beginning in 2005. An active member of the AZA Nutrition Advisory Group since the late 1990s, Barbara co-advises multiple SSP and TAG programs and has served as President of the Zoo and Wildlife Nutrition Foundation since co-founding it in 2012.
